Over the past several years we added Mazak’s new 8000 watt Optiplex Fiber III. The Laserflex automation system was installed later and came on line as another laser cutting resource for KSM. Having options of 5 lasers now, including 1 combo punch, tap, laser machine gives us the flexibility to produce our customers parts quickly and accurately without interrupting other work already scheduled. The laser was delivered and installed in 2021 with load/unload system soon to follow. The 19 drawer storage tower and balance of the automation came from Remmert in Germany in March & April of ’22. We are very pleased with this additional capacity and look forward to cutting parts for you soon!
